Kooji was glaring at the icecream, examining every details from the grooves to the creases. His eyes squinted while he stared closely, he could smell the Icecream, the aroma. There was chocolate, strawberries, green tea, mint, chocolate chip, and more exotic flavors. He was hungry, famishing, and was in a staring contest with the ice cream. He walked a bit closer, and stared at it even more, hoping it would magically appear in his hands. He could feel the store keeper looking at him awkwardly, but his full attention went into the ice cream. He licked his lips, and tried to find some change in his pocket. 22 cents. A couple of coins, that added to 22 cents. Kooji knew 22 cents is all the money he has, he has no bank account nor any home. He heard his stomach growling, and it started to hurt. "22 cents, eh?"
He started to think. How else will he be able to get some food, without dishonoring the samurai ways. He starting walking back and forth, thinking. He could easily use his heron skills to blind the ice cream keeper, but stealing would be a crime. 22 cents, I could...invest it. Baah, No. Now he just wanted food, the ice cream was his preference, but anything to fill his stomach. He sat on the floor of the ice cream store, customers looking at him awkwardly, yet his mind was focused on getting some ice cream. He was hoping a robber would enter the ice cream store, and try to steal the ice cream. The Kooji would be able to save the ice cream store, and become a hero and have unlimited ice cream for a year. "Baah, Like that's ever gonna happen, Stop dreaming, Kooji!" He stared at a kid, who just bought an Ice cream for himself. Kooji felt pathetic, a child with more money than him.
Kooji stood up, and went to the front of the store and stared at the store keeper. Yo!...Am I able to buy any ice cream for 22 cents? Immediately, he saw the store keeper with a threatening glare, the whole store went mute, and the customers all staring at him, like he was dimwit. Kooji scratched the back of his head, and slowly turned around. He refused to leave the Le Icecreamo until he is able to obtain some icecream. He looked back at his hand, the 22 cents still there, no change at all. He put his head low and frowned, the hunger killing him.

A hiss escaped the brunette's lips, a throbbing pain echoing through his hands. Crimson liquid dripped from his knuckles as he stared down at the fallen boy in the rather dank alley, who was scrambling to get up with obvious fear written across his face. A grin finally formed across Yuki's face, his usual smirk playing on his lips at the apparent victory on his part. He knew the boy was going to bolt at any moment, but he couldn't help trace more scare into the stranger's heart. Slipping something out of his pocket, he flicked open the pocket knife with glee. "Well, what are you waiting for?" He mumbled out. For a moment the boy just stared, confusedly trying to decide what to do, before jumping to his feet and making a dash for it. Pathetic!
As the cowardly boy left his range of site, Yuki turned and began to walk back towards the street, closing and shuffling the knife back into his pocket as he went. Normally, he would be in summer school right now with Kazu in the lead. However, today he just didn't feel like it. Plus Kazu didn't put up too much of a fight when he forcibly took over the body. Recently, the main personality had been getting weak which worried him some. Yuki was a bit worried that he might be ruining the balance. If Kazu disappeared, he wasn't sure what he was going to do. Oh well. I'll let him have the whole day tomorrow. He decided without thinking too much. He gazed up at the signs and advertisements scattered across the streets for different shops. As his eyes landed on the ice cream shop's, he couldn't help but realize the craving that was filling him now. Although Yuki didn't like sweets too much, the occasional treat was very nice as well.
The blue eyed boy clanked open the door, letting out a loud yawn as he went. It was only midday and he was already feeling sleepy. He thought about calling out Kazu so he could rest but he had been quiet all day. Must be sleeping. He thought with a grimace. His eyes darted towards the flavors for a moment, wondering about which he felt like today. However, as he observed them, he couldn't help but realize that a very strange looking man was standing by, a scowl fixed on his features as he stared at the frosty treat. For a moment, Yuki just watched him, wondering what he was so worried about, until he heard the question that came from him. Almost immediately, an echo of laughter burst from Yuki, destroying the silence that had been formed by the weird man. He couldn't help it, just the thought of someone seriously asking if 22 cents could buy anything hit him as hilarious. While no one else would have even thought it was that funny, Yuki had always had a few screws loose, or atleast that's what Kazu sometimes told him.
"Are you serious? What century are you from exactly?" He finally managed to get out in between the giggles of laughter.
