EYES: Neikan's eyes are a deep green, similar to the ferns and foliage of the forest she protects.
HAIR: Her hair is a deep black colour, falling to roughly around the small of her back. It is mostly straight, but she has choppy bangs covering one side of her face and the ends curl and wave slightly.
BODY: Nei has a very petite build, generally being seen as very small and delicate. She's got a fairly neutral skin tone, but tans in the warmer months due to spending so much time outside.
HEIGHT & WEIGHT: She's a little on the short side, but not overly so. As mentioned before, she's very petite, so doesn't weigh a lot, around 115 pounds.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Neikan considers her dog ears to be quite distinguishing and memorable, as she looks completely human up until that point.

- stealth; Neikan is pretty sneaky and is able to slink around the trees and shadows like an expert.
- playful; she loves messing around and having fun with other people. Her idea of 'fun' is very broad; it could be anything from playing tag to making out.
- trickery; using her innocent appearance to her advantage, she has become fairly adept at tricking people into believing her.
- boldness; Nei isn't afraid to challenge people, and often dives into situations with little or no thought beforehand.
- hunting; her sight and hearing is heightened by her canine side, which helps her to sense prey, and she's pretty good with a bow and arrow.

| WEAKNESSES:
- impatient; if she wants something, she wants it now. She doesn't like having to wait around, and can become agitated if something is taking too long.
- blunt; Nei tells it how it is. While she may not mean to offend people, she doesn't beat around the bush and thus can inadvertently upset someone.
- spontaneous; she rarely thinks things through and has a tendency to act on impulse, meaning that her leading as a god is often erratic. However, she isn't the type to get actually angry easily, so she hasn't done anything drastic yet.
- nosy; if Neikan finds the slightest hint of a secret or something interesting, she'll hound you and hound you until you give in and tell her. If you don't tell her, she usually huffs loudly and sulks for a bit.
- carefree; it often takes quite a bit of pestering for her to take things seriously, which can make her seem like a fairly irresponsible god. She doesn't realise, though - she just has a hard time working out when things are serious and when they aren't.

|healing plants; as the goddess of earth, it's sort of her duty to look after the shrubbery and foliage that inhabits her region of ruling. To help her in this, when she became goddess she was granted the power of 'healing' plants. For example, if there was a forest fire, while she could not douse the flames with her power she could later go to the area and breathe life back into the trees.
|get help from animals; while she can only actually converse with canines, she can call upon the help of the animals in her forest. However, she can only do this if the animals are in close proximity, and they will usually only respond to actual emergencies, so she's careful not to abuse this power.

HISTORY:

[/i] the new pet, who she named Shuu. She spent more or less all of her time with him, never noticing how he seemingly never aged over the time she had him or how wild and wolfish his howl was for a domesticated dog. One day, when Neikan was around eighteen, she was walking with Shuu in the forest, when he veered off of the path and into the depths of the forest. Nei blundered after him, coming to a small clearing full of wolf and dog-like demons. Even though Shuu had led her here to his 'pack' of demons, he took pity on the innocent young girl who'd looked after him for the past decade; and so the pack of demons turned Neikan into what she is now, a humanoid amanojaku with dog ears and canine senses.

She dutifully did as the other wolf demons did, befriending humans in the city and leading them to the forest to the rest of the pack. However, when she became the goddess of earth, she couldn't visit the city as frequently because of the fact that she lost all of her powers when she stepped out of her boundaries. With less and less humans being brought to the pack, the wolf demons eventually died out, leaving Neikan as the last survivor of the pack (at least, that she knows of). She doesn't play the role of an amanojaku as much as she does the goddess of earth, although instinct quite often comes over her and gives her the craving to probe into people's wicked sides.
